Practice mindfulness, simplify your life, and get the best from your life with That Girl Guided Journal.

A That Girl Guided Journal Lifestyle Blog post around how to Declutter Your Life in 7 Simple Steps

Decluttering your life can feel like a daunting task, but it’s actually a lot easier than you think. In this That Girl Guided Journal Lifestyle blog post, I’m going to share with you seven simple steps that will help you declutter your home and life in a safe and effective way. From sorting through your belongings to creating a system for organizing your space, these steps will help you declutter in a way that is comfortable and manageable. By following these steps, you’ll be able to declutter your life in a way that is both efficient and calming. So let’s get started, and together we can declutter your life!

1. Take inventory of your life

Most of us have too much stuff and not enough time to enjoy it. If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's time to start taking inventory of your life. This can be done in a variety of ways, but I find it helpful to break it down into seven simple steps.

1. List everything in your life 2. Rate each item on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the least important and 10 being the most important 3. Delete any item that doesn't fit into one of the following categories - Necessities (food, water, shelter, warmth) - Enjoyments (books, movies, music, etc.) - Passions (work, hobbies, etc.) 4. Give yourself a deadline 5. Start with the most important items and work your way down 6. Store the items that you delete in a storage container 7. Take a break once you've completed the process and reflect on how much better your life will be

2. Limit your possessions

It's time to take a hard look at the amount of possessions you have. Many people have more than they need and it's time to start living a more minimalist lifestyle. If you're not sure what minimalism is, it's the practice of living with the least amount of possessions possible.

There are many reasons to declutter your life and limit your possessions. First, it's a way to become more organized and less stressed. Having less clutter means you're less likely to lose something important. Second, decluttering your life will free up space in your home, which you can use to store other possessions. This can be a major financial boost. Third, decluttering your life will help you focus on the important things in life. When you have fewer possessions to worry about, you can put all your energy into the things that matter.

3. Get organized

Getting organized is the first step to decluttering your life. You'll be able to see progress much more quickly and be less overwhelmed. There are a few different ways to get organized, but I find the easiest way to be successful is to use a daily or weekly planner. This way, you'll be able to see what's due when, what you've already done, and what you have left to do. You can also use a filing system to store your documents. This can be in a folder system or on a computer. You can also use Evernote or a similar program to keep track of ideas and to-dos.

4. Clean & organize your home

Your home is your sanctuary. It's where you relax, recharge, and getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. But if your home is cluttered and chaotic, it's hard to relax or focus. In fact, it can even be stressful. So it's important to clean and organize your home in a way that's comfortable and practical. There are seven simple steps to decluttering your life:

1. Take a look at your home and ask yourself what you need and want. This includes everything from furniture to appliances. 2. Make a list of everything you own and what you need to keep it in good condition. 3. Sort your belongings into three piles: Keep, Give Away, and Throw Away. 4. Clean and organize your Keep pile. 5. Give Away items that you don't need or use anymore. 6. Throw Away anything that is in poor condition or no longer serves a purpose. 7. Enjoy your clean and organized home!

5. Declutter your office

If you work from home, you know the feeling of being surrounded by piles of papers, books, and other items that have no real purpose. It's time to take the first step and declutter your office. Here are seven simple steps to help you get started: 1. Sort your papers into three piles: Urgent, Important, and Not Important. 2. Sort your books into three piles: Fiction, Non-fiction, and Reference. 3. Sort your computer files into three piles: Work, Personal, and Spare. 4. Declutter your desk. 5. Remove any items that are not being used. 6. Store decluttered items in a place where they will be easily accessible. 7. Repeat steps 1-7 every six months or whenever you feel the need to clean up your office.

6. Declutter your relationship

In order to declutter your life, you need to declutter your relationships. This means taking a step back and looking at the way you interact with people. In order to declutter your relationships, you need to take a step back and look at the way you interact with people. This means taking a step back and looking at the way you interact with people.

7. Declutter your thoughts

It's easy to let clutter take over our lives. From our homes to our work spaces, we can quickly become overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things we have. But it's important to remember that not all clutter is bad. In fact, sometimes it can be helpful. For example, when you're trying to focus on a task, having a lot of clutter around you can be distracting. It's the same with your thoughts. If you're constantly cluttered with thoughts, you'll find it difficult to focus. Instead, try to declutter your thoughts. This means clearing out the clutter of your thoughts and making sure that only the important thoughts remain. Once you've cleared out the clutter, it will be easier to focus and stay on track.

8. Declutter your life journey

If you want to declutter your life, you first need to declutter your life journey. This means taking a step back and looking at your life from a whole new perspective. It's time to be honest with yourself and ask yourself the following questions: - What are my goals? - What do I want to achieve? - What are my priorities? - What are the things that are holding me back? - What can I let go of? Once you have a clear idea of what you want and how to get there, the decluttering process will be much easier. Here are seven simple steps to help you on your way: - Make a list of all the things you own - Get rid of anything that isn't serving a purpose - Remove clutter from your home - Sell or giveaway any unwanted items - Take a photo or write down a list of all the steps you need to take to achieve your goals - Get rid of anything that's holding you back
